You may be at a point in your life when you need to use that road to get somewhere you’ve never gone before. Thinking about getting to a needed destination, are you confused, nervous? So, do you want to forget the whole idea of getting to a place you have never been before, a place you really need to get to? When you get to the end of that driveway, I hope you have made some decisive decisions. I trust you can follow the flexible plans you made and you’ve spoken to the right people who have been there before you…

This is where you must be attentive to what your gut, your heart and head are telling you. The particular action you take could have you sitting at the end of that driveway forever, but that will get you nowhere. Understand that all of the input from the knowledge and feelings you have can be overwhelming, but you can use your creativity to design a pathway for you. Think about it… when you get that gut feeling, you must act on something, you feel it! If it’s telling you to change your direction, speed up or slow down… and you’ve never been in a situation like this… your going to need to get creative and make some fast decisions…

Start listing to what your body and mind are telling you and get creative with the decisions you are making, you are never “stuck”. Life can only get better when you spread you wings and head to a destination in a way you have never attempted before! I promise you that you’ll learn things that you never thought possible!

Oh yes, you must remember that your faith and trust in God will be the wind rushing over your wings to lift you up and then you can trust your choices. You will not be afraid and will be assured that you will be fine!

Deborah Mullan/ A Creative Living Professional

Photo credit: D. I generally make a different one daily! If you have 20 minutes… you can do it. Pick the type of soup you want that day and put it together! Yesterday, it was cream of tomato with sautéed shallots.Today, it’s very veggie vegetable soup!

Using frozen veggies and fruits makes this treat a breeze. What makes soups delicious and different from something ‘out of a can’ is what you put in it and the herbs and spices you use…that’s true of all dishes you prepare. Now, you could take fresh from the farm ingredients and cut, chop and dice yourself into a stupor, but it won’t be quick.

So, for this soup: Using a Crock Pot (or pan of an appropriate size) I used vegetable stock, tomatoes (canned diced or stewed) frozen mixed veggies of choice ,i.e. frozen spinach, carrots, peas and corn. Lentils and black beans and a little fresh juice of a lemon. The soup was seasoned with coriander, cardamom, a touch of mint, red pepper flakes ,Herbes de Provence and garlic( all to taste). Obviously, the quantities of each element will vary depending on the amount of soup you want to make. You can change this up any way you want… use courgettes, onion ( you might want to sauté shallots, leeks or other onions), cabbage or whatever you might be in the mood for that day. This is also great way to get rid of leftover veggies etc.! Let the soup heat until cooked and flavors meld. I believe the slower and longer you let it cook the better it will be.

You see, the elements vary to taste and come together very quickly. If you start this process in the morning, by late afternoon … you have a real treat! These soups can usually be frozen. So, when you want a quick ‘“pick-me-up” or a soup to serve with a meal, these are ready to eat when you want them! Imagine, a freezer with various soups YOU made, right there whenever you want them…YES!

Deborah Mullan/A Creative Living Professional
Deborah Mullan/A Creative Living Professionalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10134400713309251939noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1858386207201500907.post-10604696777641434442023-07-30T13:45:00.000-07:002023-07-30T13:45:22.844-07:00Did Someone Say Casseroles?

Okay, it’s Saturday, your family wants to eat or nibble at all hours of the day, and possibly night… oh, then comes Sunday…and you need guiltless me time.

One of the best ways to keep your family well fed (happy) and give yourself some personally needed me time, that’s free from kitchen duty, is to make casserole dishes on Friday night or Saturday morning! Actually, you can make tasty dishes and freeze them, when YOU have the time!

Easy to assemble and healthy food is what you want to achieve. Just think of the mouth watering possibilities! A casserole is a dish that can use left overs or quick prep foods. Think about the choices…meat or plant based proteins, pasta and/or grains, and veggies galore! Flavorful and nutritious meals are there for all those empty tummies… while you take 24 hours for yourself. One of my favorite pictures...challenge yourself! It reminds me that we can conquer our fears and turn them into victories that make us strong!
Balance ...find Peace and Dare.... Don't be afraid, you were born with everything you need to know because the Devine light is inside you.... The view from that perspective is ...SPECTACULAR!
Yet, if you find times troubling, remember the divine presence is only one breath away....
Rejoice in His Word!
One day, the doors will open. The familiar, but empty streets will fill with the beautiful faces we long to see. Be patient, be brave, find your balance in your Faith, Hope and Trust in God.
Shout out and see the Lord's face in your mind's eye. For in His face is the face of all mankind Rejoice in His presence and say to the God ...
Most of us have changed or are changing the way we cope and comport ourselves, these days. Yes, we may not be holding up the pretense we've employed in the past... that's a bit jarring...however, wow, are we getting real! That is a good thing. Let's get our priorities straight! So, hit the reset button! It's going to be fine, in time.

Pretense vs. Real

Oh my... oh well.

The real concern is, are we dealing with these new situations that are causing these changes to our lives and all the personal standards we are finding it difficult to be beholdant to, so we feel better about ourselves...

Deep breaths please, we'll find our new normal and maybe, just maybe, we will find ourselves in a better place, coping well, in an ever changing world.

What's up? I know these can be hard and scary times, but what creative things have you found to do to pass the time we have been afforded? We I am doing doggie things on the couch with my sibs. Mom is making dinner in the kitchen. Fun.
Please don't waste a second of the time you have together. Do positive things and give your family a new take on old familiar experiences while home.
If you've ever loved an alcoholic, you will understand this picture...
So few of them and so many of us, who love them, ever escape the entrapment of that glass...There is hope in prayer! Put them in God's hands. You can only do so much and the pain you feel will shatter your heart. Seek professional help and find your strength in God's peace. Blessings
Yes and to spite all of the evil that has come and will come against me, I choose to illuminate God's power over all of this world's darkness by bearing witness to the Grace, Love, and Mercy the Lord has blessed me with, through my life. His gifts are our greatest weapons against that which seeks to destroy us. Truth is what prevents evil from prospering. So, speak clearly of your blessings and miracles. Speak them loudly EVERYTIME you feel hopeless, fearful and powerless! God will bless you.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future

Jeremiah 29:11

True, we all struggle. Most of us do our best to bare our burdens because we know it's part of life... but how many times do we consider that life in the flesh is temporal and in that temporal, earth bound, limited aspect of our lives, lies the frenetic struggle which spins us and eats away at us. This leaves us desperate and defeated...HOP ELESS! Not to mention, questioning everything.

However, if we consider the part of our being that is spiritual, the only true and eternal part of ourselves, then the negative is limited and does not have any real lasting power over us.

We can choose the thoughts we think, we can add things to our lives that are good and nuturing. Surround ourselves with people that we support, support us and our purpose filled journey is what brings us true joy and leads us to the knowing of His will.

So, still yourself and see it is possible to quiet the negative, self defeating chatter. When you find yourself questioning any feelings of failure, fear and deception that's welling up inside you...ask yourself this question...who's the negative voice going on and on inside your head?

This is not the voice of your creator. It's not the one who loves you, and gave you a life with purpose and intent, and brought you into this world to love others and serve Him.

Be still, see Him in your mind's eye and walk (run) toward Him. Listen to Him, feel His peace. Know He will lead you. Trust in Him, not in the words of others whose allegiance is tied to things of this world...that energy will seek to pillage and destroy you and all you love...He loves you very much and will guide you through anything ...enabling you so you may complete the purposeful journey He planned for you.

May you alway find the peace of God.

REALLY! My head is spinning. There are sales everywhere. Well, that's nice, I should take advantage of these lower prices! Wait, I remember seeing this blouse more than a year ago...no, I must be imagining things. How is this happening because these markdown prices are for cruisewear summer items...thinking, thinking...wait. These ARE last years summer clothes AND they are mixed with this winter's clothes. Just a minute, I don't need any more winter clothes. Hmm, I'm saving my money and I'll wait to buy new things for coming next season. I don't even know what will be in style or what I need."💡" I can take a vacation with the money I'd be spending or I can save the money I'd spend on things I don't need or really want! Hello! How about if I save the money until I know what I need and the styles I actually want...yeah!

what could be true?

Take a good look around you, take it all in and think. Are you actually reflecting on and relating to all that's possible out there? We can have different views or change our views on issues in our lives.
Yet, once we really consider all of our options, we can realize we are not permanently bound to things which appear to hold us back and frankly hold us captive in an unsatisfying lifestyle or from what we precieved to be a painful relationship. Please,
Perhaps we need to stop buying for winter and start thinking SPRING/SUMMER! Your budget will be severely adjusted if you are not planning ahead. So, what should you be doing, right now?
Look at what's trending, what's realistic for your lifestyle and what pieces you can use from years past. You will be amazed at how much less you need to buy, if you really plan carefully. Remember, trendy is good, but those pieces may end up in the back of your closet for years (probably long forgotten about). So, don't buy what you don't need.
#plan #doyourhomework
#whatdoyou have
#trytobuytimelesspieces
#thinkexpansionnotreplacement.

If you need some guidance, let me know. Take a good look around you, take it all in and think. Are you really looking at and relating to all that's possible out there? We can have different views or change our views on issues in our lives.
Once we really consider all of our options, we can realize we are not permanently bound to things which appear to hold us back and frankly hold us captive in an unsatisfying lifestyle and in painful relationships.

You create the mood that is a reflection of your persona and you do this by the way you dress and tend to your personal care. However you present yourself...do your best, be your authentic self! Please note that you can drastically alter your mood by holding yourself accountable for the standards that you keep. This doesn't require money. It requires that your personal hygiene and choice of appropriate clothing can drastically alter the way you feel and how other people see you! One can even go as far as saying your success and happiness can be drastically altered by how much importance you place on place on these areas of your life.
Just do something you have not done in a long time. Make that video to keep those memories from fading and you can share the fun!

There is no mystery in the art of being "creative". It is all a matter of hooking up the

thoughts and basic input from different parts of your brain to resolve a question or issue

in your life. You generally know what you have stored in you brain (reflection) or you can add

more information by doing simple research. You also have feelings attached to those thoughts

and experiences...creativity is a process of putting all these things together with a paradigm shift

(looking at things from a different perspective). Yes, now you have a new way of looking at

an issue and reacting to that issue in a new, healthy and well thought out way. People say that

things are not as bad as they seem and often that is the truth... because you are only holding one

perspective on the situation. We grow as we learn to become open to new ideas and by putting

what we know and feel about a situation in a new light, a new order or basically becoming less

reactive to our previous beliefs. Simply put; each thought, feeling or idea is now being factored

into a solution differently because your priorities are changing and being revalued. Haven't you

heard people say " well, look at it this way" or "have you ever considered...". Well, they have

considered the situation from their unique perspective. You can learn to do this, with a little

practice, for yourself. When you are feeling confused or uneasy about something, try re-

prioritizing each factor in the issue and stand back, in a nonreactive way and ascertain if that

makes sense and how it feels to you. Chances are you have been giving certain thoughts

or feelings too much value and that is not feeling good to you and makes you upset or confused.

In summary, reevaluating a situation and your options will start you on a new path of not

becoming hostage to old thoughts and feeling that have kept you stuck. Change your habits

(thoughts), change your life... You must be willing to do the work of evaluating and reevaluating

old habits, thoughts and feelings. It takes time, but you will see changes in the effectiveness of your

new way of being and dealing with issues in your life. I wish you well as you grow into the

content person who doesn't feel like life is a raw deal and your options are limited or nonexistent.

You are unique and deserve the best life possible...go for it! Oh yes, that reminds me to speak about

fear. Please, don't let fear detour you from getting the best out of your life. We all flub up and need
